3/5/19 1.6 Hours Replaced the three A5 rivets in oil tank bracket that were removed yesterday. Enlarged hole in fuselage top skin for comm antenna coax (the edge of conector was hitting edge of hole). Cut fuel line to alow flow sensor to be inserted. Forgot toe warmers so had to leave, feet too cold.
3/6/19 2.5 Hours Made ground leads for capacitor and retcifier. Remounted rectifier on engine moun using padded clamps..
3/7/19 2.0 Hours Tried to make the jumpers for the rectifier plug as shown in the photo manual. Can't do. Two #14 wires will not fit into the conector. Asked Paul. We looked at his installation. The three wires will run out to the capacitor. Electrical the same as jumpers in the plug. Drilled in firewall cross member and mounted the capacitor to be able to see the length of wire needed. Cut wires to length and crimped the plug connectors onto wires. Will have to get the ring connectors for other ends.
