I said in a couple of previous posts that the elevator cables were mis-marked and there was a lot of slack in them. Well, turns out that the cables were marked correctly but attached to the wrong point on the bell crank below the baggage area. One of the cables is about 3" longer than the other. When hooked up correctly, the slack is gone. Took way too long to figure that out. Made stricker plate for elevator down stop. Pilot drilled, up drilled, deburred and riveted fin L angles onto top of stabilizer.

Up drilled to A4 stricker plate for down elevator stop. Removed, deburred and riveted into place after Cortec dried. Put on castel nut and cotter key into one of elevator bell crank. Will have to wait for replacement part of bent turn buckle. Adjusted control sticks to parallel as best I could. Not enough thread in control rods to get thhem perfect. Re-mounted eleavator and clecoed. Attached eleavator control cables.

Got a swivel head rivet puller from Harbor Freight. Works pretty good for thoes hard to reach places. The Zenith heads also fit. Installed 4 rivets in aft center of elevator. Made the plug for trim cabel on the elevator. Plugged into plug from from instrumen tpanel for test. Works correctly along with indicator.
