Brief Description: Service Bulletin October 11 2018
6/30/19 4.8 Hours Service Bulletin continued. Finished back drilling hinge holes in stab. Removed hinge. Norma deburred hinge and also applied Cortec to inside of skin doublers. Drilled three holes in elevator front spar to get all the drilled out rivets out. I drilled off 144 heads of rivets on leading edge skin of stab. Norma followed up behind punching out rivets. Drilled a hole in bottom of skin that will be covered by doubler to get rivet trash out.
7/1 - 7/2 Out two days to re-group from auto accident. Right hand burned from air bag inflater and chest brused from seat belt.
7/3/19 1.9 Hours Updated Dynon data base. A snap. Continue with Service Bulletin. Marked rivet locations on stab along the rib line half way between exsisting rivets. Continued to try to get rivet trash out of stab leadomg edge. Had Paul over to discuss an idea for hing pin removal if need be. Agreed to cross that bridge when it is ever needed. Probable drill a hole in from ends to push pin out.
