3/17/20 Received more Camloc stuff from ASS 2.9 Hour The left wing quick drain that would not drain yesterday turned out that it was not screwed in far enought. OK now. Added a total of one and one half gallons to each tank for the leak test. Applied a bead of silicone to the eight exhaust springs and a glop to retain the #2 CHT wire. Cowling on and off a few times to get the Camlocs correct.
3/18/20 2.0 Hours Worked some more on the cowl trying to get it so it can come and off without much trouble. Paul stopped by. I had him do another FWF check. Came up with an additional four items. I had him show me how to saftey wire the exhaust springs. No leaks in leak test of wing fuel lines. Drained the fuel from the wings through the gascolator below the pilot seat. Two gallons of the three in the wings were drained. One gallon total unuseable? I think I'll call it a gallon per wing which is in line with other light aircraft.
