Secured the eight cotter pins in the flaperon arms. Tightned the two upper AN7 strut bolst. Started to tighten to two lower strut bolts but found that they need an extra washer, which I don't have (bolts slightly long).

Got two AN960-716 washers from Tom Jones. Added the washers to the lower strut bolts. Torqued all four to 250 in-lbs Dressed the two leading edge access hols for the foreward bolts to be able to get socket wrench on bolt head.

With Norma's assistance, torqued the four AN6 wing attach bolts to 175 in-lbs. Checked the fuel line connections at the inside base of ffirewall. Started on the foreward upper skin attching. The L angles and the skin were both factory pre-drilled. The longer, outboard of the L angles have a slight curve and twist to them when clecoed into place which makes them buckel a little. Had to trim the ends because of interference with flutes in the firewall and instrument panel base plate. Not the most pretty of installs.
