No work yesterday because of snow.
2.1 Hours
Put the weather strip on windshield. Marked the upper cowl about 8mm from foreward edge of weather strip. Removed windshield and cowl. Cut back edge of cowl with Dremel cut-off wheel. Put cowl and windshield back on aircraft for a looksee. Put lower cowl on support to see how much of a slot needs to be cut for nose gear. First guess is about three inches.

10/29 & 30. Too cold to work. OAT must be 20F or more before shelter warms to 50F or more to work.

Used 3" hole saw to make relief for nose wheel strut Cut slot with Dremel cut-off wheel. Tried to fit lower cowl but could not get it to match up with top cowl. Finally figured out that the bottom of cowl was up against the bottom edge of oil cooler. Tried to bend oil cooler up but mount is tough.
