Drilled pilot holes in the four steel door cylinder fittings. Clamped the door mount to the right door and drilled, Up drilling to A5S. Assembled cylinder. Mounted right door to aircraft.. Proped open door to where I though it should be. Marked location on door jam for fuselage mount. Drilled and clecoed. Tried to close door. Ran out of cylinder travel. Oops. Un-clecoed lower end. Closed door. Used bar clamp to compress cylinder and marked jam for new location. Drilled new holes and clecoed. Tried door and it closed OK. The design needs longer cylinders to let the door open more fully.
