Paul rounded up a work chrew after our monthly EAA chapter meeting of: Dallas Chopping, Dave Calar and Dick Buzako, each having a homebuil and three of the four having built their ownt. We started on the left wing, put it in place with a temp bolt in main spar. Then the right. Back and forth to get distance from reference point on tail to wing tip the same with the main spar rivet line lined on both wings. Had to remove right wing to trim a little more of trailing edge. I though that the distance from pilot hole in aft tab did not overlap of aft spar end enough. Others agreed so the wings have a very slight sweep, about an inch in 13 feet. Adjusted angle-of-attack to be same then clamped rear spar and tab Used an air drill that was narrow enough to fit between fuselage rib and first rib of wing to drill rear spar bolt holes. Put temp AN6 bolt in aft mounting hole. Worked on diheatril next. Not quite finished with that.
It was good to have the input of other builders and come to a consenus on the best way to solve the problems that arose. Cheers to the team!
