7/10/19 2.5 Hours Used tape measure to check between first rivet on outbboard leading edge of stabilizer and aft wing attach point on both sides; Paul's digital levfel for level between stab aft spar and cabin cross member tube; level on clecoes out of right end stab rib and fuselage top behind cabin. Everything set, clamped attach tab with shims. Marked and pilot drilled aft attache tabs. Re-check measurements/level.
7/11/19 1.5 Hours Now it is HOT! WTF. Checked measurments to see if they held over night. They did. Moved stab back to table. Replaced 1 bad rivet in skin doubler Drilled pilot holes in foreward attach tabs. Back onto aircraft.. Sttopped by store to pick up some 12" drill bits (i had only 8" on hand)
7/12/19 3.7 Hours Checked alighment of stab. Up drilled to final 3/16" size in steps. Temporary installed AN3 bolts. Had to use -5's because of the gaps. Will work on permendent shims next. Temp clecoed eleavator on and held fin into place. Fin skin will have to be trimed on bottom, like everyone else.
