5/14/19 3.0 Hours Removed one rivet from cabin roof cross L angel. Back drilled through ELT antenna backing plate and clecoed into place. Drill two more rivet holes then center hole. Deburred and riveted into place. Temp mounted antenna. Norma cleaned steel door latch parts with brake cleaner. Primed steel parts. With Norma's help, screwed ELT mount to fuselage floor. Checked to see ELT antenna cabel long enough. It is. Put industrail Velcro on the ELT alerter. Cleaned underside of glareshield for other half of Velcro
5/15/19 2.2 Hours Installed Diracell 28L 6V battery in ELT remote. Screwed remote onto instrument panel. Touched-up primer on steel latch parts. Added other half of Velcro to underside of glareshield.
5/16/19 3.8 Houra Used pattern to cut-out fabric for glareshield. Put fabric on top forward skin and placed windshield on to check fit. Looks good. Put dab of paint on ELT remote screws/nuts. Riveted center of top foreward skin to instrument bulkhead and firewall (5 rivets each). Can still lift edges of skin to work on wireing. Riveted lower edge of instrument buldhead to steel cabin cross member. Painted door latch steel parts red. Spiral wraped ELT remote wire to other wires below right seat area.
