5/8/19 2.1 Hours Clamped ELT backing plate into place and back drilled fuselage skin. Dressed hole in instrument bulkhead for ELT remote. Norma cleaned paint from aft fuselage.
5/9/19 3.9 Hours Applied Cortex to ELT backing plate and area on inside fuselage skin. Riveted torque bearing supportt, C75-F-5-1, to torque tube berring channel, C75F-4-5. Riveted ELT backing plate to fuselage, Clecoed baggage area floor into place to check that I could get ELT in and out. I could. Made backing plate for ELT antennna. Back drilled through middle side windows into fuselage skin two holes (each side) missing from factory. pre-drill.
5/10/19 3.1 Hours Removed baggage area floor. Added ELT tie-down stsraps. Worked on instrument pannel for ELT remote to fit. Clecoed map box into place. Cut glare shield kraft paper to make pattern for fabric. A whole bunch of nit noy stuff.
