4/20/19 4.4 Hours Had to hold door corner braces in place by hand. Not a real good way to get champs on them. Drill one hole and cleco. Except for the bottom aft brace, clecos are in the way drilling the other holes. Finally got all up drilled to #20 using a combo of long an short drills. Riveted with the SS A5s using hand and air riveters. Only had to drill out one where the square tube slipped. Removed door from aircraft and put on table. Got three of the four inside guessets pilot drilled. Have to remember to install foreward latch prior to installing door plastic.
4/21/19 4.0 Hours Pilot drilled through the fourth guesset. Rounded corners of tubes to match guessets. Up drilled to #30. Removed guessets and deburred. Dressed the foreward latch hole to make sure latch would fit. Then riveted, with A4s, alll four guessets. Re-mounted door onto aircraft to check alighment. Looked good. Put door back on table with the 30 mm spacer under upper foreward corner. Removed guessets and drilled out the two hinge rivets that interfere with guesset rivets. Placed bubble plastic on frame and marked as per photo manual. Trimed top with Dremel cut-off wheel (no band saw).
