10/23/18 2.0 Hour Bolted engine mount to firewall. Tourqued bolts to appropriate values. Started to bolt cross members, E2-1X, engine mount brackets, to mount. Striped two of the four AN6-32 bolts by cross threading. Ordered two more and nuts from ASS.
10/25/18 3.7 Houra Mounted oil cooler. Started to mount radiator but found that the anti-vibration mounts were missing. Called Zenith to order them. Layed out location for parking break on the center consol. Removed water pump from engine to prepare to exchange90 deg lower left socket for a 45 deg socket. Used heat gun to heat water pump. Was able to remove offending socket. Books say heat to 450 deg. Man, was it hot.
10/26/18 3.0 Hours Blue Locktite 45 deg water pump socket. Spot Lockite on mounting nuts for oil cooler. Sealer on flare to metric adapters for oil cooler. Tires have kept their 30# preasure for months so increased to final 50 psi. Continued work on parking break mounting.
