Brief Description:  Drilled new HS spar

I spent a couple of hours just marking the center-line of the new HS spar webs. This is harder than it sounds because of the rounded corners. I had to measure, erase, and retry over and over again before I got marks I was happy with. I placed the new spar webs onto the jig and stretched a piece of 8# test finshing line down the center. This proved to be a far better method aligning the webs than the method in the plans (based on drawing a line on the jig). When I had the webs as straight as I could get them, I clamped down the spar strips, rechecked everything, drilled, and clecoed them.

I used the same taught fishing line to align the outer hinge brackets prior to drillig them. This required making some aluminum spacers to allow the line to remain aligned while positioning the brackets. After drilling and clecoing the outer brackets, I moved the fishing line to define the a straight line between the outer hinge bracket holes while threading the line through the other hinge brackets. After a lot of eyeballing and measurements, I got satisfactory alignment of the middle and center hinge brackets then drilled and clecoed them (one at a time).
