Brief Description:  Install aileron push tubes and ailerons, start fla

Started off by moving the plane al little bit further from the wall so I could get the left push tube into the wing end. Probably spent 30 min on this and then another 30 min locating the plans and hardware to reconect those ailerons and push tubes.

Put a digital level vertical on the front stick and then tied the stick in position. I then attached the push tubes to the center control column. I couldnt find the correct length an bolts so I used a slightly longer ones for the fitting process and ordered the correct ones along with some other things. I then attached the tubes to the bellcrank in the wings. I located the jig that sets the neutral position and installed it on the left wing along with the bellcrank to aileron push rod. Did the same to the right wing. Here is where you adjust the rod ends in or out to achieve proper position. Mine look ok at the moment but I ned to make a better jig for the wing tips to make sure im lined up correctly. I can do that tomorrow.
Untied the control stick and checked travel. Looks like everything moves like it should and doesnt rub against anything. there is a place in the fuse in the bulkhead thats real close and can use some fileing to open up but I will do that later too.
Checked the up and down travel on the ailerons with the digital level. The right one has 30.4 degrees up travel and 16.2 down. Limits are 30 up and 17 down so I need to recheck this again and do it in more than one location.I used the delrin rod modification for aileron stop and this could be off a little. Not sure yet.

Started on the fabrication process for the 2 flap push rods. I dont have enough of the rod to make 2 for some reason so i will order more. I also dont have a #3 drill bit. I used a 7/32 on piece of scrap and drilled it then tap 1/4-28. Worked ok but feels kinda slopy so i will order the correct bit. All I managed to do is cut the 6.5 inch length of rod for one side and finish the ends. Will drill and tap later. Unfortunately this will delay my progress.
