Brief Description:  Square up wings, sweep, set angle of incidence

1. Checked for wing sweep. Taped 2 plumb bobs on each wing. One inbd and 1 obd. I then measured from a point on the obd wing edge at spar and then back to the aft most bulkhead center. The left wing was 3/16 inch further out than right so we pulled it aft some and clamped. Also adjusted the right some and then measured again. This time they were equal. I then double checked square by using the laser. The picture doesnt quite show it but the dot hit the front of each plumb bob string. The plumb bobs were lined up on the snap line on the ground too.

2. Checking wing incidence was next. First I marked the top wing skin in 4 spots along the forward webb face of the front spar. I then made a spacer of 2 51/64 inch for the rear spar face. Setting the level on this should read zero angle of incidence. Mine was about 0.3 degrees low on rt wing and about 0.4 degrees low on the left. I lifted little ata a time until level was zero and then clamped in place. Did this on both sides.

3. Made measurements for 5/8 inch min edge distances for the rt side rear spar in the bracket. Marked the bracket and Im ok but barely. I might chek this again tomorrow and see if I can get it a bit better. In the picture, I marked where I would pilot drill and have the required min clearence for all edges on all metal.
