Brief Description:  Temp hardware bolts for wing spar prep and cut pit

1. Bent the ptot line as it comes out of the inbd wing rib about 90 degrees down and as close as I could by hand to the rib. I should have enough room to slip a vinyl tube on that end and not be pinched up against the fuselage.

2. Went on a hunt for some 7/16 bolts. Suprisingly, home depot did not have any long enough! But we found some at another store in town. I made a support to hold the bolt from slipping in the vise and use my sawzaw to cut off about a 1/2 inch of the threads. The bolts are 4.5 inch length but 4 would have been plenty long. I then ground down the remaining threads and then tapered. Finished up on the belt sander and then polished.

Here is the rub,.. The bolts fit through the wing spar holes just fine. They also fit in the right side mid section just fine though a bit more snug. But they do not fit very well on the left side center section. They need to be hit with pastic hammer fairly hard to get started throuh. I didnt go very far before not trying any further. This concerns me. I will call vans to see if I can reem the holes or see what they suggest. I had a feeling that there might be a problem brewing when I removed the pressed wood and bolts fromn shipping. That side was quite difficult.
