Brief Description:  Install rear seat restraints abd adjust. Install s

The 5 point restraints came in from Crow. They look great. I got the black anodized fittings and the newer style rotary latch.

As most already know, The anchor points are 7/16 opening but the attach points already done are 1/4 inch. I used 3 washers as a bushing. Some folks used and washers and ground down slightly to fit. I used store purchased steel washers with 6 mm OD and 1/4 inch hole. These fit slightly losse but I dont think its an issue. Cant tell when its installed and torqued to 50 to 70 in lbs.

Alos, the belt mounting brackets are thicker than the Vans supplied brackets by a 1/16 inch.
This requires the mounting points to either be re done, or the mounting bracket machined down, Or simply spread apart the mounting points and install as is and torque. Ive heard of others doing this and when I did it, it appears fine. Hard to tell when done.

Supplied an4-5 bolts are also for the thinner belts. I used the thinner washer under nut and drilled the cotter pin hole slightly larger and that seemed to do the trick. But, 4-6 bolts miht be better choice.

Installed the belts and had Brenda help me for the rear shoulder straps because I didnt want to crawl back there. NOTE- the rear points are a single attach finger and the belt is not sandhiched in like the others. This means A washer with wider circumfrence is required. I found some stainless steel ones and used them. Need these type so that the washers arent pulled thu the attach point upon a hard stop.

will need to check travel of the flap bar to see if any contact.

Brenda got in and adjusted her belts to fit. Looks great.
