Brief Description:  peel off tape suronding the windscreen

Today I sanded down the fairing again and then sanded smooth with 100 grit to rid some of the deeper scratches. Got things pretty smooth for flying but will need some work before painting. Might just leave the final sanding for the painter.

Sanded some along the tape line so that the tape could be removed. The top two layers came off great but I had a problem with the final bottom layer. I should have stopped and did some final edge sanding but I was too excited. What I have is and inside edge that has a very small sliver of red tape still under the edge and it is visible from the inside. SOOOOO, Ill retape later and sand that pesky edge back some and that should do it.

The forward edge on skin will need some feather work too

I cleaned up everything before removing tape and sprayed on a double coat of sanding primer and then lightly sanded it all.

Removed all the tape and plastic drop cloth and then vacuumed the dust up and installed my radio and ems back into the panel

Looks great from 5 feet away. I will try to clean up the edges some before calling it flight ready
