lots of slow sanding again today. Started on lower right side and finished in about half the time as I did on other side. Moved on to the bow rollbar edge and then finally the lower inside edge and corner radi. I left the red final tape layer in place on the plexiglass side for now because I have a couplke of edge problem areas that will need some work. Ill tape up thge outside with a layer of tape and and then lay on some mre epoxy filler on the low areas of fairing and after sanding that, spray on some filler sanding primer. It wont be perfect for paint but should be ok for flying and not too ugly.I then should be cleared to fill rivit holes in skirt and tweak that for a looser fit. Its getting there!
Removed all the tape and bubble wrap etc from the canopy and sides to clean off all the sanding dust and to take a look at how things are looking. Pulled outside and cleaned up the floor too
Inside edge to plexi sanded down to the red tape edge
All edges sanded to final edge and ready for final finish work
Canopy closed and all tape and drop cloths removed for dust removal
