Brief Description:  canopy center rail final, fit side rails

1. Installed the center canopy slide rail with the required screws and nuts and thought I had the countersinkd for the screw heads deep enough until I slid the slide block on and could feel it catching slightly on each screw as it passed over. So, removed it and countersunk the 9 holes a little deeper and then reinstalled the rail.

2. Cut the left and right side rails to length. These rails are already tapered on the aft end and buts up against the bulkhead properly. So it was important to measure the length from the top side for the length called out (59 15/16 I think). I then marked for the reief cut on the bottom of fwd ends so that it fit up and over the windscreen base.

3. Clamped the rails on each side and made them even with eachother at 25 5/8" apart.

4. Put the rollers together and installed in the canopy frame and then sat the frame in the rails in preperation for drilling the slider bloc. See next post for today and its photos.
