Brief Description:  baffle ramp brackets and angles and fitting cont.

Today I started off by cutting two SS rods to length and bending per instructions to use as tension rods connecting the lower baffles together. Well.... Im having issue with that because the length appears to be too short on the right side and then the angles don seem to work. Think I would have been better off with instructions that just said to make the tension rods and bend as necessary to fit. That would have probably been better!

Moved on to the ramp issue. Startwed with the right side front baffle where the bottom edges are interfering with the ramp angle. After taking the baffle and ramp assembly off so that I could trim the bottom and re install to check-5 Times, I think I finaly had a good fit on the right side.

Made a pair of angle from .032 alum Sheet and bent 90 on the brake. Then with the cowl on, I put spacer (scrap Baffle seal fabric) under the inlet and over the ramp as well as on the side baffle and cowl nose. Marled spacing of rivit holes and center punched. Positioned the angle and match drilled it to the fwd side baffle and ramp. Did the same on the other side.

Re installed the cowl bottom to confirm the position of ramps and fwd side baffles in relation to the cowl inlets. I think I can live with the results.

**NOTE- the angle was used due to an error in cutting the front side baffles on the bottom edge...Dont do that! I mis understood the instruction. However, I think my fix is just as good. It only requires more drilling and some more rivits.
