Brief Description: front baffle fit and support bkt and clip fab
Fabricated the support bracket for right ramp and match drilled to mounting plate after fitting flush to bottom of ramp and cutting and polishing. Clecoed on the angle. The rivit holes thru the angle into ramp drilled later
Spent majority of time fitting the two front baffles. They need to be slowly trimmed to fit the angle of ramps and also line up on the center support bracket. The right side not eash to position with clecoes and requires removal of the ramp to cleco and then install each fitting ityteration.
Made three clips for the front baffles to the ramps from AA3-032X1X1 angle. No dimensions given so I just winged it from the drwg on op40-10. Center photo shows one angle I cut to 1.5" long and increased the acute angle to fit. I drew some ref lines so I could drill one rivit hole thru this bracket and into the ramp and support angle under the ramp. This worked out well. I then drilled the other two holes into the angle along that line
Traced cut outs in aft baffles for the ignition wire pass thru as well as the cooling vent holes for the magnetos.
