First thing in the morning I applied a second layer of 8 oz glass cloth after wetting down real good using fast hardner
At the end of the day, I chipped out the foam block and then cleaned up the area well
applied a layer of 8 oz glass all around the opposite side this time and made sure it overlapped the cowl lip on the inside. That makes three layers as called out in the plans. I will probably add a final layer of 2 oz glass to finish out and then coat with epoxy to smooth out before I call it done.
I will also need to reinstall the cowl and mark this glas work up for a 1/4 inch gap with the FAB and make any necessay alignment issues.
