Brief Description:  Fire seal firewall flanges and rivit on cowl hinge

Spent 6 hours at the hangar but dont have much done to show for it. @ hours work seems more realistic today. The rest of time was fiddle farting around I guess.

Started by calling Flightline Interiors and getting on the calander for my custm interior. Should be March completion timeframe.

Then I removed a zillion clecos holding on the top fwd skin. Was a bit in lala land because I somehow let my Baggage door fall to the ground!!!! Its damaged but I dont know yet If I need to rebuild part of it or just work some majic? Wont dwell on that...

I also noticed I have a very slow weeping brake leak on rt master cylinder where it connects to the plastic delivery line. Dag Nab IT!! I put the wrench to it once more and will let it sit again. I also applied lots of brake pressure over and over to get a leak started if its going to. Nothing! Sooooo, will see. If its leaking slowly again , I will drain fluid and start over.

I then had Brenda help with firewall sealant. Using Fire barrier 2000. Brenda would carefully spread the firewall flange from the side skin with a plastic tounge depressor while I squirted some seaant in the gap. Spread excess with finger, wipe off and continue around the firewall except for the top where the top skin gets rivited to. I also tried to get what I could reasonably reach on the inside firewall edge. That came out kinda sloppy loking but wont be visible.

I then clecoed on the left and right piano hinges and the left and right bottom hinges and hand squeezed 60 rivits. No issues with that thankfully!
