Brief Description:  Upper cowl trim process-day two

Drilled 3 pilot holes in wooden disc and into the front flange of upper cowl to secure in place. Also made some refrence marks for reinstall. Secured in place with 3 wood screws

Made new cut line and removed cowl for sanding and then reinstall to check fit. This was repeated 4 times today.

Sanding was done using 12 inch 2X4 with 60 grit glued to the edge.

It is starting to fit nicely. Getting a uniform 1/32 gap all along edge will be the trick but its getting there
