First order of busines today was to verify oil pressure I unattached the oil line to the oil pressure sensor and put a clear viny tube over it and plugged the opposite end. I removed the dryer pugs from the top end and turned prop over about 50 turns. No luck and so i turned the prop about 25 turns more with the key and got oil out the line into the tube, Reattached the oil line to the sensor and then checked for oil pressure on the Dynon EMS and got desired oil PSI readings as well as confirmation with the oil warning light going out when above 15PSI as designed. After, I sat for about 5 min and watched the oil PSI drop back off and then the low oil PSI warning light re illumoinate. This vital indication appears to be functioning.
I then Applied some sprk plug antifreeze compound to the pug threads and then installed and torqued to 320 inch pounds. Attached the harnes leads and tightend too,
Attached the P-leads to the magnitos.
Turned prop until oil and air expelled from oil line to oil PSI sensor
