Brief Description: Rear throttle linkage and adjustments
Unscfew the rear rod end and aproximated the amt to thread it on to the push tube. I basicly eyeballed it for a starting point.
After a series of attacjung the linknd checking the push and pull limits, I finally got it. This process required a mirror to see when the rodend bearing lined up with hole in throttle arm and then push a bolt in and then check how close the spread was. A time consuming process as its not easy to access. Remember that the rod does not flex, so you cant lower the mount any for access Once I had it where It matched the front throttle throw and pull, I tightend bothe jam nuts on each end of the push tube.
Probably the most trouble I had with this was getting the bolt and hardware installled thru the rod end and arm. The bolt going in from inside to outside is relatively easy but final orientation is from out to in. And then once its in, getting a wrench on the bolt head on the inside was challenging.
The Pictures show the slight gap before lever stop in full forward position. The rear pull stop just hits the stop. I dont see how this can be tweaked anymore and taking it out again would be unwelcome task. I hope its done.
Installed some of the mounting screws with nylon washers.
