Brief Description:  Drain the engine preservative fluid

Decided to drain the engine fluids from shipping so that I can start the mounting process of my carb and exhaust systems. I removed the covers to induction and exhaust ports and removed the spark plugs. Let drain and drip most of the day. Will rotate the crank some tomorrow and see what I can get out of spark plug holes with that process before proceeding with carb install.

I also had a friend bring by some lycoming parts and service manuals so I could figure out what hardware I need to mount the carb and also what I can use to plug a oil line hole in back of engine that i dont need since I removed the line. Got the hole plugged and safety wired I used the same O-ring from the other fitting.

Also played with the coupler I got from ACS to use from the gascolator nipple to the redcube nipple. Its a bit shorter and nicer than the alum tube I made for same purpose. Loosely connected again and put in the hose from vans from the output from red cube to engine pump. Its a bit too long I think but might work. Ill sit on it for awhile and decide after exhaust is on before cahnging hose. Ill also make a support for the redcube to relieve strain on my coupler once I decide on the set up.
