Brief Description:  Complete wire issues behind panel

Pretty good day today though not a great deal done.
Started off with the EMS audible warning not neing heard as well as a problem with the radio volume knob not changing the volume.
I first discovered that the audible warning is heard much better when the intercom is on and that the isolate switch is off when using rear head set, which is where I was plugged!
The variable resistor works as well but I noticed the the radio volume decreases with that control. Since I could not turn the radio volume up seperately, turning the audible warning down to a lower level made the radio to quiet. So I need to be able to turn the radio volume up! Couldnt figure it out. Since I have the same radio in my Citabria, I removed it and swapped out with the RV* radio to see if I had a wiring problem. NOPE! The radio from Citabria had no isuue with volume knob. So, with that, I returned the radios to original positions and now just have to go into settings in the radio to get it set up like the other radio. ILL do it later. With this done, I think everything is working behind the panel as it should. I also attached the backing plate to the 696 so it stays locked in the mount when quick release knob is secured.
The top skin is about ready to go on now. I just need to finish getting the throttle and mixture cables hooked up after my rod ends arrive in the mail. The skin can probably be on beforehand but I might have easier time with the controls with it off.
I then tied all the wires back into bundles with a dozen zip ties
Reinstalled the spiral wrap to bundle in bag compartment and coming out of firewall.
