Brief Description: Plumb the pitot and static system-1
After setting the panel with instruments and radios installed onto the skirt and cross brace support, I decided to tyackle the pitot and static connections. I had purchased what I thought Id need from SafeAir and have more than enough except what I need. Looks like I need either another manafold with one more port or a t fitting for the Tru trak. Either one will complete the job.
With panel with gages in place, it was fairly simple to cut the lines and install. Just shove the line in untill it seats and Presto! its connected. I did not leave enough slack in the line from altitude decoder to manifold to open access door but it works as long as i dont secure the manifold to the cross brace.. I will probably cut a longer line here later. I also will be placing another order for a new connector so I can finish this out. Connectors are just screwed into the indicators finger tight at this time.
I also connected the wire harness to the Trutrak and tried to tie it up out of the way. Still in progress.
