Brief Description: Skirts final prep before riviting on permantly
Removed the skirts first thing today and began the not so fun task of sanding that aft end. I must of sanded and reattached and removed and sanded half dozen times trying to get a nice clean fit in the aft upper lip curve. Not real happy with results but figure I can tweek it more after rivited on...maybe. I also sanded the center rail relief area and the bottom lip area. I can clean that up as well after this is rivited on. There are then all the keper rivit holes to deal with. Some lined up nice and other were never even drilled. I had to mark location and drill them. Thats not an easy job since you drill blind into the skirt and then into an existing hole. Basicly disecting lines are drawn from those holes with skirts removed. Reaatch skirt trace lines and drill. Removed skirts one last time today and painted with self etch primer. sanded later and will apply sec ond coat.
