Brief Description:  Canopy skirt Pull knob installed

I had counter sunk the skirt rivit holes yesterday but went back through again today with micro stop and did another run thru to make sure all rivits are sunk low enough. Spent an hour doing this but they are ready now except for the holes that have temp rivits in place holding on the canopy. I will do those after the skirt is on.

Drilled and then rivited on the reinforcing plate in aft skirt with six cs4-4 rivits. There are 4 holes in the corners that I miss drilled and they dont line up with the plate well si I will just fill them.

The square hole for my pull knob is deeper than I like so I cut to spscers from 040 aluminum and drilled the center holes. With the spacers in place, My knob will be recessed 1/8 inch. This will leave enough room to fillet with epoxy I think

I decided to goop up the spacers with JB weld and insert in the hole. Gooped up the bottom of knob and set in place. Gooped up the Mounting screw as well and installed with split lock washer and tightened down. Some weld oozed out the top so I just smoothed out with my finger.

Later in the afternoon, I mixed some micro with cabo and applied to the rivit heads and around the knob. I need to work the slide rail area some next as well as the fit around the top lip in the aft radius.
