Brief Description:  Left skirt redrill and but end cuts aft

1. Sanded the left skirt inside and outside where I glassed over the holes. I also sanded out all the ridges and grooves on the interior sides of skirts so that they are fairly smooth for paint and or some epoxy cover later.

2. Retape the left side aft of canopy and re drew the intersecting lines with a fine pen trying to be as accurate as possible this time.

3. Clecoed on the skirt left side again and taped down as well as I could. I then drilled the holes again but started forward about 9 holes and worked aft. I did this since the rest of the skirt is drilled already and I want to avoid any puckering possible. The drilling went fine this time and seemed to work. Once I untapped the skirt, it puckered again but not as bad as before. Alot of work for little improvement! ohwell!! If you loook in photo 3 below, you can see where it puckers out on left side (not the rail side where it lifts, I can fix that I think, but further left along the bottom edge)

4.I then made a series of marking and cutting at the junction of Left and Right sides over the rail. Ended up with a slight gap but this will be glassed in later

notes: In phot 3, you can also see where the left skirt is more up and forward than the right. This wasnt due to orifginal lay up but rather a last minute change for a better fit on right side. I can either ad material to the left side or I can cut rignt side to match left more and then deal with the resulting gap from cutting. I might just add a small edge to left. Stay tuned!
