Brief Description:  Attach throttle and mixture cables to carb. Variou

First order of business was getting the throttle and mixture cables attached to the mount and then the carb. Sounds easy but requires playing with different routes and anglers and then deciding on what you like I guess. Then the attaching process was painless. Just had to adust the cable sheaths in or out to get the full travel and then final adjusting on the turnbuckle. Tested the throttles and the mixture levers to be sure they are not hitting lever stops before the carb levers hit their respective stops. Im satisfied with the travel.

Removed the alernator and tightened the mount bolts up and safety wired. While the unit was removed I tested the voltage at the alternator plug with main power on and alt field on. Showing 12 volts. Reinstalled the alternator. Will tighten and safety other bolts when tension applied to the belt.
Attached the plug and main wire to alternator and then fiddled around deciding on how to secure the wire run. Used an adel clamp on rt side sump bolt. Ended up removing and ading the CHT probe wires on that side to the same clamp.

Installed the right side EGT/CHT probes. The EGT probe wires I ran trhu the spark plug wire clamps attached to the two cylinder valve covers.

Installed the starter cable. Had to bend the Wire crimp at starter 90 degrees. Tried running the wire on both sides of engine and settled on the right side. Ran the wire from the starter to an adel clamp I installed on the front rt sump. This keeps tension off the end at starter and keeps wire up off the heat muff and exhaust manifold. I may need to secure to the engine mount too but it looks ok as it is. I zip tied a few wires together for neatness.

I have a concord battery that I removed from my citabria a year ago when opting for the model with extra cranking power. I charged it up and installed it today. I figured its good enough for testing purposes at the least.

Cant find a couple of stainless steel tail pipe clamps so the installation on that is on hold still. I called Vans and they dont carry the in
