Brief Description:  connecting engine sensor wires and misc.

Installed ring terminals and shrink to the 3 lugs on the oil pressure switch for the oil warning light and the hobbs meter and final ground to a bolt mounting on the manifold attached to firewall.

conectorizied the three wires on the oil pressure sensor and the fuel pressure sensor. Connected them to the dynon wires and a common 5 v excitation wire via splices. I comboined the tw fround together into a single ring terminal and attached to the other bolt on the manifold. Note: This deviates from the Dynon instruction where they list a ground wire from the dynon unit to be used. Not sure why because the Dynon master gound wire is attached to the airframe and should be ok to do it the way I have on firewall side. If not...?We will see later on electric power up.

I connectorized the carb temp probe and grounded it as well.

All wires left long and just hanging so that they can be tied up and around exhaust and such later for final trim fitting if neccessary.

The only wires left to connect on engine are the CHT and EGT probes

In photo 2 you can see the 1/16 hole I drilled in the oil temperature sensor for sfaety wire. TThis was not called out but I figured I do it anyway. I has also purchased a crush washer and installed it.

The Grey thing in photo two was installed as well. Its a mechanicl tach port cover that I got from ACS for a smooth 18 bucks! It even has holes drilled for safety wire. It has a rubber o-ring inside the cap to help seal.

Attached the ground cable from the firewall to the engine block just aft of the oil fill tube. Not happy with how secure it is so I bought some stainles lock nuts and split washers and will probably try them and see if it looks like a better hold.

Attached a pressure gauge to the fuel line coming out of red tube and attached a fitting to the aft inlet port into the fuel filter in the cock pit. I plan to pressure it up to about 20-30 lbs to see if any leaks are noted in or around the gascolator and red cube connections before I get too far along.
