Brief Description:  Sensor connections

Installed the oil temp sensor hand tight. It appears that the crush washer wasnt supplied with the sensor. Whats new? Located the wire from dynon and connectorized it and and attached loosely to the sensor. Leaving wire hanging with slack until exhaust is installed.

Crimped on connectors to dynon wires for the red cube flow meter and left hanging loose as well. I also installed two mounting bolts of proper length.

Torqued the fittings and hoses to the red cube using the flats technique before installing the mount bolts. This will have to be double checked for leaks prior to first flight.

Located the two dynon wires for that high and low amps metering and installed in-line 1 amp fuses on each and then ran to the shunt, connectorized with #8 ring connectors and attached to shunt. Left what I hope is plenty of slack in the wires.

Installed the carburator temperature probe supplied with the dynon kit. Used a bit of permatex thread sealant. Run wires aft and taped up out of the way. Will connect them later.

Spent some time trying to decide how I want to splice in to the 5v excitation wire with about 3 or 4 wires. Ongoing...

Installed the 4 cylinder head temperature probes and leads. Used a bit of permatex high temp anti seize compound on the threads and tightened with flat screw driver.

Labled the remaining wires and ran to prospective places and secured with masking tape until I get to them.
