Brief Description:  Heat shield for wires exiting firewall rt side

clecoed a heat shield pair to block of wood and drilled opening up to 9/16 with step drill on drill press.
Bent one side on small harbor freight break so it would fit flush with firewall and firewall flange.
Cut the inbd half as far as I could get away with and rounded and sanded smooth.
The heat shield just fits over the wire exit hole in firewall with this set up and was then able to center punch the two screw mount holes and drill.
It is now clecoed in position but though a plastic snap bushing protects wires going thu the firewall, the shield too has an edge to worry about. Im playing with the idea of wrapping the wires in fire sleeve with plentu of fire retardant seal and then installing shield. Might need to open the hole slightly. The fire barrier will be put on first to seal the hole and wiresin firewall and then the shield will have the sleeve to protect wires from chaffing. we will see!
