Brief Description:  Shunt and manifold pressure sensor mounted

Mounting harware not supplied with the dynon shunt or manifold pressure sensor. Both have 1/4 inch holes in the mount so I picked up stainless stel crews and nuts and washers at hardawre store.

The screew head didnt fit in the base mounting well so I ground the screw head down slightly until it fit.

Marked hole locations in firewall. This wasnt easy as it is only an option and can be mounted where the builed wants. No advice was supplied. So I picked an area under the battery mount and near the cable that runs to master buss.. Drilled the required holes and installed the shunt

I decided to put the dynon manifold pressure sensor to the right of battery near where the hole would be drilled for the vans kit if I had it. Note: Vans would have the sensor on cabin side and the pressure hose going to a bulkhead fitting to the sensor. This was to keep it cooler I guess. Might be more important with constant speed prop but I dont and my sensor is for other reasons and not as important. Also Dynon said it doesnt matter what side its mounted on. So.....one less hole for fluids to pass thru and possibly leak inside. I like. I drilled the holes thru an existing rivit and the angle bracket. The screw wasnt long enough and so I will have to buyl 1.25 inch. I temp installed with some AN4-11 bolts
