Brief Description:  HS and VS micro over glass 2 and rudder top tip dr

Sanded off the epoxy mix that ran over the edges and then applied anothe coat. The area of the glass towards the bottom sags more and requires more build up. Note the tip on far right in pic has a big sag in the glass due to how far the rigid foam sat back from edge when I applied the glass. The tip on left has a slight contour and is about right. The one in the middle doesnt realy have any curve at all and requires very little micro and buid up. I guess It also does not afford the ability to sand down for clearence if I need to. Will see how this all turns out I guess.
After I applied the coat of micro, I laid the tips face down on wax paper to cure. This should give me a flush and smooth face this time.

Moved on the rudder top tip. The aluminum is not square with the tips and needed to be hand worked to fit better. I just pushed down on the edge on each side until square and then used the hand seemer to give it a little extra bend. Once the tip fit a bit better, I clamped firmly in place and match drilled it #30. and clecoed. Removed and debur, counter sink. Dimpled the skin. Applied epoxy to the joggle and reinstalled and then pop rivited,
Note: the last rivit on each side are too close to one another and realy should be off set. I could not get the final rivit squeezed..See next entry for more pics
