Mixed a small batch of epoxy and micro ballons to a honey type consistancy. Im new to this so trial and error is in order. Applied the mix to the lead counter weight faces with a plastic spatula. I also had a strip of electrical tape to define where I want it to transition to the aluminum. This too is just a guess and trial. Im not sure how it will work. I also cut two pieces of peel ply from some polyfiber cloth i had left over and pressed them lightly on to the mix. I may not realy need to do this but it may help keep the mix from sagging and will also leave a nice finish when its peeled off. We shall see! Later on I peeled off the ply and it looks pretty good. Will need to sand and feather out the edges and then add more as needed next time.
