Brief Description:  Sanding off the excess epoxy from elevator tips

The install of elevator tips yesterday left quite a mess of epoxy on the skin and fiberglass because I failed to mask off the aluminum first. So I sanded off the excess and also sanded the glass to look flush with the skin in places where it off. In the pics below, you can see some slight puckering between rivits. I was hoping the epoxy would have elemenated that. So I need to decide how or if I will dress that out to look better. The first pic shows the pro seal I used around the lead counter weight. It also shows the amount of extra fiberglass extending past the weight so I can lay in some resin and then block it off and sand down flush. On the other elevator, The tip does not have any extra beyond thye weight. I dont know why that is.
