Brief Description:  panel radio cut out and mount bracket drill

1. Finished the final fitting of the radio cut out by fileing and sanding. Took way too long for some reason. Once the was the right size and the radio seemed to slide in properly, I clamped the trey and mount brackets into position to check fit with radio. Looks ok.

2. Marked the mounting brackets for 3 rivit holes on each side. Clamped back onto the panel and match drilled #40. Deburred all, and then countersunk the panel side. Since one hole on the lower end of each brackert will allow the rivit to interfear with the mounting screws, I counter sunk those holes in the bracket. I plan to double flush those rivits so that the nuts will be able to come off if needed. This is the plan anyway. Will see how it turns out when the brackets are rivited on. This will be later when I have all the holes cut in the panel-still have a couple small ones left.
