Recut the brackets for the sl40 comm. Marked hole locations and drilled.
Purchased some stainless machine screws but the heads are a bit too tall for the radio to slide in and clear. So sanded them down just enough. Attached the angles to the tray and test fit on panel. Needed to trim off some of the angle to clear the angle on the 696 and the panel apron. Fits well enough now. Will need to drill for rivitting to panel next

Decided to try out some rustoleum semigloss enamal smoke gray. Painted the rear gaggage area to se if I like it or not. Its a pretty close color to the primer and Im considering it for a finish coat over everything in the fuse.
