Brief Description: Mask off the scratched area around the windscreen
no pics post 1/2 today I had scratched the windscreen with a popsicle stick thickness all around the wind screen while sanding the edge of fairing better. My thought was that I could just add a bit of epoxyy and sand and then let painter paint a slight overlap on to the windscreen. But after I removed the tape and saw mt scratch line, I think its wider than anticipated. I dont like it! So I masked off the area all around and then testsanded a problem area (the left inside radius). I sanded it with 240 grit all the way to 1000 grit. I must say its looking better. I bought some more wet dry up to 2500 grit and will continue this tomorrow. I also had purchased a scratch removal kit fro ACS a while back and plan to use that as well. I believe I can get Brenda on this to help and if we can get the scratches mostly gone, then after paint etc, The edge will not be noticed.
