Brief Description:  Canopy left side skirt drilling-1

1. After many fiting sequencesresulting in only bad fits I picked what looked to be the best of the bad and taped in place.
2. The left side skirt has the handle tube that protrudes the skirt and so I drilled a pilot hole from inside the canopy thru the tube and thru the skirt and then a unibit from outside slowly stepping up until it fit thru the skirt. I then used the dremel with a drum sander to get a nice fit with a little extra room.
3. I previously tranfered intersecting lines from each hole drilled into the canopy up onto some tape around the canopy . I now extend those lines down to the skirt to find where to drill. This seems to be working so far as I have done 5 so far. Started aft and worked forward. Drilled with a small bit and if I didnt hit any plexi, I finished the hole with a unibit to 1/8 and then clecoed in place.

This is enough for tonght. I can tell that a nice snug fit will be impossible just from rivitting in place. Plenty of fiberglass and epoxy will most likely be required. Yay??
