Brief Description: Transponder certification and other
Today I had the avionics guro visit to check my transponder for VFR . All checked oout just fine and the log is stamped and signed off for two years. The DAR still has not shown up yet as our schedules have not meshed up. Not to mention paperwork delay with state FSDO or weather delay. Anyway, the currently scheduled day for AW inspection is this Thursday morning. I have found out on last communication that the DAR did NOT want the plane all opened up. He just wants the inspection covers removed. I had the floor out and the spinner unscrewed, and the rear seat side panels out and both seats etc. So today I was putting them BACK. I just figured that this was the most important inspection and would need to be open. However, the plane needs to be "ready to fly" when he shows up so.... But Im sure this will vary form one inspector to another.
