Brief Description:  Prep for DAR visit

DAR Bart Dalton fromTulsa has agreed to inspect my airplane for airworthiness on Thursday 2/9/15. I only have this weekend to open the plane up and inspect myself before he comes,

I first removed the empenage fairing and then the two acess panels in fuse under the horizontal stab. I checkedt everything over again and put a wrench to any bolt that didnt have torque seal.
I had two cotter pins that needed splayed and also two jam nuts loose on the electric trim actuation arm.

I then removed the wing root fairings and checked everthing in there. I was happy to Not see any signs of fuel seeping. IMoved under the wings and removed the 3 access panels from each wing and then double checked the push tubes and bell crank attaching hardware and jam nuts tight and then marked with torque seal. Checked the aileron attachining hardware while I was there.

Checked the flaps push rods for tightness and the top and bottom jam nuts and torque sealed. The motor attach bolt was not cotter pined yet and even had a written reminder on the actuator to do so. Done

removed the front and back seats and the pans and floor access panels. Checked torque tubes and aileron push tubes and control sticks for all harware tight and sealed the nuts if they hadnt been done already.

Removed half the screws holding on the spinner. Dar may want to see how it fits first and then I can remove the remainder and inspect prop bolts and safety wire.

Cowling is on and all pinned. DAR wants it that way to check fit and then remove it to inspect engine.

If time is available tomorrow, Id like to come back and vacumme some and give it all a final look over and then clean up the tools and benches.
