Brief Description:  Rt wing landing light and wire run

1. Attached the HID ballast for landing light to the rear of the mounting bracket. Cable ties are used to secure the wires to it and the screws are dressed with loctite red.

2. Installed the mounting bracket assembly inside the right wing

3. Cut away the corners of the plexi lens after tracing the aproximate radius from the cut out and the retaining strips maintaining the proper distanes of 5/8" side to side and 3/4" top and bottom

4. Attached the strapping tape handle to the plexi lens and positioned inside the opening. Pulled the lens snug in to the nose and match drilled the holes with #40 bit and cleco. Started with bottom side first and then the top side. Removed the lens and inlarged the holes with the uni bit to 5/32".
Counter sunk the holes in the plexi large enough to accept a #6 dimple. I used a scrap piece of aluminum dimpled to #6 as a guide for depth.

5. Drilled the rivit holes in the lens retainer strips to #40 and then counter sunk for AN426 flush rivits. Drilled the screw holes to 5/32 for the screws. Rivited on the plate nuts. Applied the double sided tapeand attached the strips to the plexi lens.

6. Final drilled the holes in wing skin to 9/64 to accept the #6 dimple dies. The #30 dimple die would work but I think the #6 dimple has better results.

7.Dimpled the skin holes with #6 dimple dies, attached weather strip to the inside lip aprox 1/8 inch inside.

8. Installed the lens with the 6 #6 screws.

Both lights are installed and ready to be wired and powered up
