Brief Description:  Plexi lens left wing light

Not a good day in the work shop! Too hot at 90 plus temp and high humidity equals short temperment. I laid out the cut lines on the plexiglass lens for the left land light. With my handy dandy dremel and cut off wheel for plastics, I cut. All looked ok at that point. I did some slight fileing with a fine file and tried smoothing some on the scotch brite wheel. I didnt sand it down the way I knew I should but did enough as a start and would finish up later with a belt sander or something similar and then fine sand with wet 400 grit emery. BUT!!! When I lightly cleaned the edges with some rubbing alcohol to remove the sharpie marks, gueas what?? Sudden formation of visible stress cracks all along the cut edges!! Dang it!

Ordered new lens

ordered a unibit to drill holes in plexi

Will try again and this time do proper edge sanding/finishing. Oh, and no dang rubbing alcohol. I can only guess that the rapid cooling effect of it as it rapidy evaps might have causede the unfinished edge to open some stress cracks. Just guessing here.
